Famous Tik Tok artist Khabe Lame has acquired Italian Citizenship

 

Tik Tok star Khabe Lame, who rose to stardom through silent video clips, has acquired Italian citizenship.

22-year-old Khabe Lame swore an oath to be loyal to the Italian state and to uphold the constitution and laws in Chivaso, Turin, Italy, last week. Khabe Lame's family immigrated from Senegal 21 years ago. Tik Tok started his career in 2020 after being laid off due to Italy's lockdown.

It grew dramatically in the digital realm over the course of two years. Khabe, who soon crossed 148 million followers, is the world's top TikTok creator. In an interview with The New York Times last year, Khabe said his comments formed a global language. People laugh at my face and my emotions.'

"I am very proud," he said during the citizenship ceremony. "Before today, I felt Italian because I had always lived here." I recognize the meaning of the oath I have taken. These are not just words.
