Floods in Pakistan and a moment of silence in France


 Paris (Monitoring Desk) A minute's silence was observed in France's Normandy Chair for Peace Summer School, University of Cannes in response to the loss of life and property caused by floods in Pakistan. According to private television channel 24 News, Mossad Sultan and Ahmed Ali presented a video report on the devastation caused by the floods during a climate change session at the summer school.


According to research, Pakistan is one of the first countries affected by climate change, where floods have caused a lot of destruction. According to the video report, all the participants and teachers of the summer school observed a minute's silence. In particular, the summer school has students from 40 different countries. These countries include America, Brazil, Chile, India, Italy, Argentina, the Caribbean, Cameroon, and Australia.
