The Prime Minister has increased the relief amount for the Flood Victims

 


Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Qamber Shahdad Kot, a flood-affected area in Sindh and visited the affected districts.




Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif Qamber reached Shahdadkot, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto and Chief Minister Sindh were also with him. That the federal government has agreed to increase the amount of aid for the flood victims from 28 billion rupees to 70 billion rupees.


Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that all the affected families will be provided aid in a transparent manner, people have been displaced and crops have been destroyed due to floods, this is not the time for politics and everyone should help the victims of Yaslab. Will have to work. . . Azam also thanked the international community for their help.


The Prime Minister visited the flood-affected areas as well as the relief camps. On this occasion, the Prime Minister said that there is water everywhere and the Sindh government is working day and night to rehabilitate the victims. No effort will be spared to help in the rehabilitation of flood affected houses, a fund of 25 lakh rupees has been established and 28 lakh rupees has been given for relief in all affected areas, however the number of flood victims is very high. So help will be limited. It has been decided to increase the amount to 70 billion rupees.


On this occasion, the Prime Minister said that rice, dates, cotton and other basic products have been severely damaged due to floods. Sindh has been the worst affected by floods, followed by China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, USA and Iran. We are grateful to Qatar and other partner countries, including the United Arab Emirates, for their support during this difficult period. Every day, planes carrying relief goods arrive from different friendly countries. According to Prince Karim, four trains carrying humanitarian aid have also left Turkey. Aga Khan's son has also pledged $10 million to charity, China has stepped up its support.
